Keep or Sell?
Hey everyone....new to the forum. Brief intro-I am Mike. My home is in Herndon, VA but right now I live in CT at the Coast Guard Academy.
I have a 96 F250 I bought in Colorado when I was on exchange to the Air Force Academy. Brought it home, and just want to know what your opinion on whether I'll get what I am looking for out of it around northern VA or should just hang onto it for now.
It is a 96 with the 7.3 factory turboed, 4 inch suspension lift, Dana 60 swapped in up front, reg cab with a short bed, 33 in Nitto Mudgrapplers, custom 5 stage tuner built into the dash, gooseneck in the bed, metal front bumper which was put on to fit the 38s she used to wear (got a grill guard built into that). Threw an air horn to pass inspection too hahaha.
Oh it also has the old 38s mounted on 16.5 inch wheels. They're pretty bald though. And its a western truck--no rust. She's a little dinged and dented, but the black paint looks pretty good on her.
It has about 200k miles, just went over the mark on the trip home. I am asking for right around $7000 for it-probably take 6850ish. Think that is plausible in Fairfax County? If not, I'll just hang onto it probably. Tired of paying insurance on a truck I don't use that much though.
