September GTG ideas

Would anyone be interested in finding a campground we could pull our TT's to. I have a 32 footer that sleeps 8 so I could sleep a few that don't have one. Let me know, there was a really good one south of VA beach I went to and would I would call about reservations if there is some interest. I'm thinking Friday through Sunday kinda thing.

I had a gtg idea not sure how easy it wold be to do but i have a friend on a dodge deisel forum he asked if we do gtgs and said they were tryin to get a diesel nut gtg ford chevy or dodge, just an idea to throw out there lemme know what yall think

Where in Spotys are you from ? your close to me curious to what truck you have, you can post up the va beach area but alot of us PSN members live on this side of the tunnel, more then likely the va beach guys wont come, thats past experience minus Eric. So no real sense to make it over there that ppl have to drive 4 hrs for 1 day, vs if you did it in the central richmond area.

I'm just suggesting getting a group of campsites somewhere and pulling the TT's out for some BBQ and campfire BSing. I read your thread about people never suggesting GTG ideas so I figured I would throw it out there.

The only requirements for me are cheap, and full hookups till I retrofit my waste tanks. Closer means cheaper means less diesel to buy so if anyone has a place in mind, throw it out there. I was thinking like a Fri, Sat nite deal. I'll volunteer bringing my smoker and throwing a shoulder on so that Sat evening we can have some pulled pork carnage.

I wish I had a trailer to make this a good GTG. We have done GTGs through another forum. Your more than welcome to get on board and show up.

Which other forum? I have this posted on the PN as well.

Only Sniper has responded over there but there are plenty of views. My TT sleeps 8 (well 6 if we stay outta the kids bunk beds). I have no problem sleeping a few more.

yea i read the post over there, i don't have a camper and haven't really been to a campground before so i was kinda feelin it out before i responded..like it's been said before, most of the guy's i've met have been north and west of richmond. so if there are campgrounds around say ashland or charlottesville, that could be pretty central.. a guy i work with goes to a williamsburg campground alot..just throwing ideas..
