werd...it is pretty dead in here, we have a lot of people in the area, but not many people are very active.

YA I gave up. I planned a GTG in Va Beach back in the summer weeks ahead of time all these folks said I'll be there, so 5 of us drive from NOVA and a few from NC, no one showed up from the beach area. So frankly I aint making that drive again and wasting my time with it so i gave up.

Really? I figured yall would be packed with the # of superdutys i see everyday. Dont feel bad our cummin meets dont draw to big of crowds either.

there was a huge hype when the chapter first started out but after a couple months go by people lost interest. brandon and I have spoken many times about this. There is probably a good handful of active members on this forum that get out and meet up. A huge factor is the ones that are really active are mostly military and have obligations to fulfill. I understand your frustration but dont give up on the chapter. It will get better I'm sure of it.

I hear ya, the gtg i start was 4 different forums its hard when you drive 4 hrs to an area for ppl in a certain area and no one shows up except for folks that are out of town. Just annoying, cause then they complain when gtg's are north of them and they dont want to drive.

I would have made a couple of your guy's G2G just wasn't able to or already had prior arrangements. Let me know the next time you guys do something in the NOVA and I'll try my best to make it. Thats part of the reason I joined the forums is to meet others in the area and BS

I see plenty of powerstrokes around and talk about the Org and Nation to them, but I havent seen any of them join up yet.

The problem is your average powerstroke guy doesnt use the net very often, let alone get on a forum which is a completely new experience for them!

Im hoping our chapter (BPS) doesnt get to this point. We are really trying to gain interest that is just not there in Ohio. Good Luck to you guys

There is on-going planning for a GTG but it's related to another group. When the details come out I'll post them up.
