my brothers 01'turbo stang




lots of work to list but some mods include a 76mm turbo,65lb/hr injectors,custom intake,custom roll cage,sct tuner tuned by fordspeed in clearwater,fl

502hp 517tq --still needs a different wastegate spring and a lower rear end gear.also running only 11psi boost compared to the 20lbs the engine will handle.

16" suspension lift, 48" michelin xml's on 20x10 black rockstars, 6000k hid's, crossover steering, zoodad mod, ccv mod, modified up pipe to delete egr cooler,high idle mod, mbrp 3.5 downpipe, train horns(also on remote), diamond plate tool box, recon smoked cablights, Code670 alarm/remote start,100w reverse lights, oil-based underbody paint
**soon to purchase SCT rockwell 2.5 ton frt/rear
-8,520lbs with me in it

2001 4.6L 2valve DOHC..the basic gt motor redone with cobra crank, .20 over fordged bottom end with ported/polished stock style heads

Repairs since bought: both batteries/alternator/3 transmissions/4 clutches/entire front axle/new steering stabilizer/power steering pump

Still broken: cracked windshield/all glowplugs/glowplug relay/4WD still out/trailer harness no power

Current Best: 16.149@84.13MPH (Est.7800lbs)

That is not a DOHC it is a SOHC 2 valve because all DOHCs were four valve and the cam covers are much larger and with a diff number of mounting bolts

o yea..i see i put dohc...sry it was late when i was posting it but ur right it is a sohc engine.expected to be low 10's in the quarter and into the 9's when the wastegate is replaced to allow full boost..dangerous lil thing is what it is
