It's been in the news a lot up here (from CT) the story behind it is that Calhoun is the highest paid state employee, and while other state employee's benefits and wages have been 'curtailed' his hasn't. That also means he is the MOST TAXED state employee. the problem is, if the state cuts his wages too, he'll just take off. look at florida, they pay their coach(es) 3.something mil.
BTW, i don't follow basketball at all, this was all from the news this morning as i was waking up. I do have to agree, he was right in putting the guy in his place. |
