02 cummins has slight knock low on oil almost a brand new injection pump still runs picked it up for $200 from the pictures can any one tell me anything about this motor like the block i took some pics of some numbers but not sure which is which

How did you get that for 200? And what do you wanna know about it? You already have a cummins I will take that off your hands so I can put it in my rig!!!!

Thats a steal there, good thing it isnt the 53 block, thats a 24valve with a VP44 injection pump and the turbo is an HX 35

Its not common rail but i think you already new that.

ya i no a little bit about the motor but i pretty much wanted to no the turbo and the block. but i went to get an oil change and my tranny fuild changed and the guy i take my truck to is a good freind and he was doin a motor swap on this 02 dually. and said i will give it to you for the core charge i said alright ill be back tom with a trailer

Well its the 55 block, the 53 blocks are the one notorious for cracking so your good there and its a 24valve motor with the VP injection pump and its an HX 35 turbo

well rebuild it. im lookin for around 450hp that i can tow with. its going into and 87 single cab 3/4 chevy and i would like to put and eaton 10speed up behind it.
