Funny Stuff, I remember those days and the great times, glad to see the reflective belts are still in force.

Those belts are to keep you fromm getting hit by "vehicles", but there a great target for enemy snipers! I hate wearing those belts

they only wear those in the rear meaning on base after dark or when PTing running, I personally never wore mine in Iraq, not even when I was PTing I ran with my shorts, T shirt, Flak jacket, Kevlar helmet, and my M16A4 with one 30 round mag, LOL dont leave home with out it. but damn sure no racing stripe on.

You can walk around all day long wearing camo not get run over ...but if you're wearing your PT's (which already have reflective lettering on them) you must wear the "magic safety belt". No safety belt = certain death.
