Gear Driven Turbo or SC?

This was on another forum.  Edit i meant to say BELT driven i had gear in my mind i guess.

its called a procharger...its a belt driven Turbo basically

A Procharger is just a centrifugal supercharger basically it's a turbo with out the hotside. Instead of an exhaust turbine it has a pulley. I have a Procharger D1-SC on my 5.0. That is a SWEET setup though!
