When I met my 3rd wife..she had a 12 year old daughter....well....one day the little girl mouthed off to her mother, and her mother smacked her across the face.....and accidentally scratched her face, because of a ring that she was wearing.

" Seems like she needed an attitude adjustment."...."we aren't here to lock parents up, like everyone thinks,...unless it is obvious violent abuse"....."we don't even blink an eye at normal physical reprimanding of your children".

Sooooo....if you don't bloody your kid EVERYDAY, and they aren't constantly in the hospital for " I fell down the stairs" accidents.....don't worry......smack those little bastards around, and put them in their place....lol

true that..... but it is annoying.... i spanked my daughter earlier in the year for not behaving and she went and told her counselor lol... well child services came and did all the drama and after 2 appointments it was ok but just a hassle to go through

i just wish it was like it was when most of us were growing up.....

That's the kinda crap I hate to hear. You may not go to jail, but they sure do make you feel like a criminal. Why in the hell do you have to explain yourself to someone else for discipling your child with a spanking? That really frosts my arse. And what the hell was the counselor thinking? Did they never get spanked and neither should anyone else?

Exactly... and what ever happened to calling the parents first to see what really happened? It def made me feel like i did something wrong when i know i didnt.. its just annoying

Saw that show on TV, 'nough to make ya puke.
Children have rights, to behave, do as asked, do daily chores, be well fed, clothed, housed and loved, learn to WORK, Bible says no work no eat.
When small the sandpaper side of a ping pong paddle on the bare but got my attention.
I grew up in the era when PE teachers had a 3 foot hack board and used it, if they did so did dad at home.
SOME warped parents do need re training, know one doing time for child abuse, my take on that though is a nail, a stump and a push.

Either of my kids ever pull that sh!t I'll knock em in to the middle of next week! Throw my arse in jail if you want to, but if my kids ever lay a hand on my wife they'll wish they were never born in the first place... When I grew up, my old man took me fishing, hunting, made me mow the lawn, shovel snow, work for him in his painting business, tought me all kinds of good stuff. But when he was pissed, I FEARED that man. That's how it ought to be.
