The original Excursion (late 80's, early 90's) had a removable top like that. I've only seen one and that was at a car show. It looked like an F-250 Bronco Crewcab. Pretty cool back then.

Actually, I don't think it was called an excursion back then, it was called something else. I have a photo somewhere of the one I saw at the fair... it was lifted and had like 38's on it and it was awesome!!!!

I love the headlights and the front bumper not to mention the whole 4 door bronco thing looks great.

yeah, it was a "Pre-Excursion"! just used the name loosely. can't remember the real name.

CRAP! I can't find it... it used to be on www.siblingrivalry.com but that url is oos now!?

Anybody know what it was called? If so, I can find it in no time.

That old crewcab pickup mated to a Bronco deal was an aftermarket conversion. The name has slipped my mind for now, but I will remember it eventually. There were/are several of those in my area and from what I saw of them, they had all of the bad traits of a Bronco times 2!

Their was one near Pittsburgh for the longest time. I thought it was called the "Bronco Explorer" or something. Remember the old pickups use to be an Explorer also. Larrys dad had a green 79 or 78. I would love to have that truck maintain posted if it came with a PSD.
