well well... I thought the same thing.. but I saw it for the first time on Horse Power tv... and yes all it does is switch the firing order.. and you get more HP out of it... kinda weird I know but don't worry once I do it I will dyno before and after... just to show everyone that it does work... |

The 4-7 swap has been around for a while in the racing world on Chevrolets. It helps balance out the firing of the motor and makes it perform better. The firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 on a stock cam. When you switch it it keeps two cylinders that are side by side from firing at the same time allowing better scavenging of the exhaust and better intake flow. Just a little insight for ya.
