I don't know if Idaho is the only place that they race whitwater Jetboats or not, but I know that is where I got hooked on it. We used to go all the time to watch them race. It is just nuts. Here is a video of it kinda gives you the flavor of it. Hope ya enjoy it.

Here is a sprint boat accident from my home town. The lady that got hit made a full recovery. They are racing in about 8" of water.

Here is another one. I just can't get enough of watching these boats. 100+ in the straightaways and slowing down to 60-70 to make turns over Class III rapids, NUTS!

I have run alot of those same spots on my old Jetboat in the spring when they are alot rougher. Of course I am only running at about 30. I can't wait to retire and get a Thunderjet.

That is just fun to me. Try doing it in a lowly 275 HP boat in the spring. That sucks!!!! The boat that the wife and I are looking at they use as rescue boats.
