anyone tell me the easiest way to get the clutch fan off this truck? i also can"t get the right size nut for the upper fan shroud mounts that go to the engine block?anybody know what size they are? i have been trying air chisel and it will not budge!!!!!!!

well they're either 13 or 15mm. probably m8x1.25 thread pitch
The clutch fan itself is not easy either, Once you're done fighting the upper shroud out then you have to fight the fan and stator out at once. The stator once loose will be very tight coming out if you leave the cold side cac tube in BUT it will come out without damage. I ususally loosed the fan clutch from the fan in the vehicle and just pull the stator up enough to get the clutch past the rad. |

Thanks for the info. Got it changed, thank goodness for air chisels and PBS Blaster!!!!
