I heard a few pops in the end, what happened? Long burnout, but I wouldn't think 30 seconds or so would frag something mehanically, but you did have the RPMs high?

Tire frying contest at the drag strip?

Nice bern-owt BTW

thats what I was wondering. you shouldnt need a burn out like that to get the tires sticky and clean.

It appeared to be a burnout contest.. vehicles were alternating from lane to lane.. and all on the tape were doing very long burnouts.

I did hear some faint pops.. What kind of damage did you do???

Yes it was a burnout contest. those were stock wheels in the back just for the contest. That was the first event of the day, and the last for me. I was running water/meth injection, except it was 100% meth. I won the burnout contest though! I melted three injector nozzles. two pistons were broken up around the edges. Had it bored .030 over. and it cleaned up nice. about another month and shell be tearing it up again.
