Consider that you have stock tires and wheels, from what I can see. Big, heavy tires especially mud tires really suck power out.

Hit the drug store and get some visine. Where did you see "smoke?" I saw a very slight haze at the beginning when he got on it suddenly. You can see some kind of tailpipe sticking out, which is not normal for these trucks. As stated before, simply removing the catalytic converter will allow what little "smoke" aka haze the engine does produce to come out and be visible.

Also - a lifted truck like that with huge tires racing a stock sized truck? come on... DUH the D-max won... if he hadn't that would have been very very sad!
now come on guys.... one of my bosses has a Dmax and I left him like it was nothing.... and his truck is stock... and sorry all you guys that say the dmax's don't smoke at all if they are stock... well his does a little bit.. not much but enough to see... I say that the Ford driver took off crappy... and that dmax wasn't stock... on my Edge Attitude you can addjust the smoke level... so you can turn it down to where there really is none but still have some good power... that is my two cents
