Actually there is a whole series of those videos.. There were two rifles shot during them... Both rifles looked pretty much the same so I couldn't tell which one that is in particular... It is either the 700 Nitro Express (which I believe it is this one) or the 577 T-Rex which is basically a 700 Nitro necked down to 577 ... Either of them are more then capable of putting you on your butt if you don't know how to handle the HEAVY recoiling rigs...

The 577 uses 186 grains of slow burning powder while the 700 uses 255 grains of slow burning powder... For comparison my '06 uses approximately 58 grains of the same powders... My 338-378 on the other hand uses 120 grains of even slower burning powder ...

Ken....

I think the handgun was a S&W 500. I remember seeing that video not long after they came out. It doesn't really look like an S&W 500 though

I had a Desert Eagle 50AE, but the 60# of pull needed to push the slid back took ALL of the fight out of the gun!

It was the ONLY gun I ever saw that would shoot a fireball out of the barrell twice as big as a basketball during sunlight hours!

Any gun will do it at night, but the 50 did it when the sun was shining!

Tell me about it, I have the DE 50 AE and the .44 MAG DE. The thing definately isn't easy to chamber, but you're sure greatful for that spring pressure once you start pulling the trigger
