No...If I remember right it's a DOHC 2.0L from a Dodge Stratus (same enigne as a Neon) with a Mexican Turbo Neon exhaust manifold and turbo. It was all custom built for the most part...pieced together from junkyard dodge cars. I think the tranny is a 3spd or 4spd auto from a Neon that was performance built to take the power.

There are a lot of smart guys working with the Dodge 4cyl motors, turbos, and SCing 'em. There are even a few that have 11 and 10 second Dodge Shadows!!! Talk about thinking out of the box!! Nearly everyone that has a 12 second or better Neon has it bone stock looking. All the ricer mobiles are slower than my truck for the most part.
