If ya look real close at the very end of the REAL SLOW motion, it looks as if the guy on the bike is actually looking at the deer and lowers his head down.

The guy comming toward the camera ducks and the guy going away looks back.

Good news is that he didn't get hit, bad news is that he has to repair the hole he bit into his seat. Pucker factor must have been pretty high.
