Tires are dangerous targets. Lot a people don't know that the bullet can actually ricochet (bounce back) real bad if you hit 'em at the right angle...this maybe doesn't apply with a high powered rifle, but with a pistol or rimfire round, watch out! I've witnessed it myself (I was not the shooter  )
