I have a Kodak DX7590, I just plug both cables in and XP prompts me what to do with the new found hardware or whatever, I just click the generic XP camera downloader or whatever and then it saves everything from the camera to a certain folder I have for downloading pics/movies. I never installed any of the software from my camera, don't even remember if it came with any?

Then just go to photobucket or something like that an upload it.

Sounds like you need to make sure you have software or updated software to view the movies?

Edit: Just thinking about it, my Kodak camera records videos in quicktime format, you might want to make sure you have that or something that will play quicktime movies.

When you pull 'em up, right click on the picture and click properties to see what type of file extention it is. You can then google that file extension to find a program that works. Let us know what type of file it is. Are you running vista?

I use my digital camera that can record video. Then I plug my cameras USB cable into my computer. As soon as it's plugged in it asks me what do I want to do with the pictures/video.(OPEN WITH?) Pictures go to MY PICTURES and video goes to Windows media player( also my pictures if you so choose.) Then go to photobucket, into your album and hit video tab. Hit browse and search your cp where your vid is and double click on it. It will then be at photobucket. Hit the upload button. Your vid should be there. Minimize photobucket and pull up the ORG. When you post a comment that needs a pic hit your photobucket tab then choose IMG code under video. Highlight then copy. Tab back to the ORG and right click in the post box and hit paste. Then preview post to see if it worked..

SORRY FOR THE BOOK!!
