I got a couple for you.

fresh out of highschool I was woking in a tranny shop and had a 2dr exploder sport 4.0 v6 2wd with a 5 speed. got bored one night and decided to hit up the street racing scene. Was pulling down the "strip" (goodnight trail for all you houston guys) and wasn't planning on racing just trying to make my way down the road to pull off and watch. low and behold what pulls up next to me. Some pos black faded paint honda with a 5 inch monster tach with shift light and he's revving the piss out of it. Change my mind decided he was going down. The "starter" lined us up and threw down his arms. That little honda didn't stand a chance. By the time I was in 3rd gear he was about 10 links behind me! hahaha

2nd one.

Me and some friends were at the waiting spot (waiting to go back to street racing) which was a car wash and some dude comes thru the parking lot with a brand new crotch rocket. I cat remember but I want to say it was a new ninja zx6r. he's cruising thru the parking lot revving his engine pops a quick wheely and then does a short burnout. stops, gets off his bike and walks about 10 feet away when his bike falls over catches on fire and burns to the ground!!! I have never seen any scramble and scream for water as bad as that guy was. Funny thing he was only about 5 feet from a car wash bay!! hahaha

Lots of imports around where I'm at. I don't really pay much attention.

Normally what I see is Mitsubishi, Honda/Acura or a sport compact along those lines with a big annoying exhaust, gauges, a "street legal FWD drag car" but the entire car looks like it just got dug out of a junkyard - mismatched paint, not painted, just downright horrid looking body work/care. I don't understand that, if you're going to have a race car why not make it look nice too? I guess a nice paint job holds you back on the 1/4 mile. It really makes the real Import guys look bad, some of these modified imports are FAST.

I always think Ricers get mad at looking at my exhaust tip (6''). Recently, I had this happen the other day, some guy in a junked up Eclipse was riding my bumper pretty good constantly blipping his throttle for me to hear his BOV, I was just minding my own business. I was going to pull over to let him pass but I decided to let him breath some black smoke for a little bit, maybe my black smoke added some performance when he drove through it.

i got one. was at a red light with my fourwheeler and little 5x8 trailer behind me going to go ride one weekend. anyway some dude in a late 80,s model honda civic pulls up next to me. car looks like crap, faded light blue paint, lowered, front end alignment way the hell out, reving his engine and i could here his turbo. so i figured he had a late model engine of sorts in it. i guess he dumped all his money in the engine and couldnt afford the proper lowering kit. any way light turned green and i put it to the floor. he stayed with me for about the first 50 feet and as i drove by he had the dumbest look on his face . no mistaking the power of the diesel!!!!!!
