The Reason For The Straps Is To Hold The Vehicle From Rolling Over, And To Help Keep The Tires Planted. I Used To Rock Crawl With My Jeep All The Time Before I Sold It. Those People Pulling The Straps Are Spotters. They Can Actually Help With Those Straps Also By Giving The Driver A Better Sight Line From The Drivers Seat. If You Ever Get In A Lifted Rig Going Up Rocks And Ledges, You Can't Always See Where You Are Going Over The Hood. So Follow The Strap...
