it was my LOANER for about 2 hrs. and 30 miles..

that is the short story.
took the truck in for a rear pinion seal leak. wouldn't give me loaner 'car' cuz it was to only take 2 hours to repair. i said i then wanted to drive the '08. ser. mgr. said 'ok, only get to put on less than 40 miles'. i said no problem....

what's a guy to do, i did have to test out the 'launchability'....:burnout

stock as stock can be. drove it right off the lot and to a gas station to put fuel in ($10, it was 15 miles to empty). drove to a construction zone w/ no traffic, hit the brake and pounded the go pedal.

i also came back about 20 min. later to do a 4hi launch. got to 1700-2k rpm and let off the brake. she took off like shot out of a cannon. i had to let off the gas and reach out and grab the license plate as it launched off the dash and was headed to the back seat to where my son was sitting...i honestly thought the plate sliced into my palm it hurt so bad.....it never left a mark on the road in 4hi tho....
