Just not enough weight on the front would be my guess. Never pulled so I am sure we will both find out when someone that does pull replies. but it looked cool anyway. Good find.

Running the modified diesel class they can add ballast wieght to the front. This is not new. Most likely if you have never seen if before it is because the pulls you went to did not allow it.

Watch the video again, and find the front pumpkin.....














Don't strain too hard though, there isn't one. That truck is a 2 wheel drive. I recognize that youtube user name, and I'd be willing to bet that was a KOTTPA (Kentucky Outlaw Truck and Tractor Pulling) event from Edmonton KY. There are a couple of guys pulling 2 wheel drives with that group, and doing well with them.

I have seen several 2wd modified diesel pickups pull and all I have seen is the front tires skimming the ground...nothing like that.

yea the pull was in Edmonton, KY, but I didnt go to it even though it was only about 30 minutes from my house.
