Best chip or programmer for 2001 7.3

I have been looking around and the vendors say the same thing that the new edge evolution is the best for this truck. Does anyone have anymore suggestions.

i will sell u my superchip 1705 for 250 shipped its a hell of a chip takes 10 mins to install and it reads all your diagonstics and everything its a night and day difference! comes with original box and code books

I haven’t used the edge so it might be the best, I like flip chips better but here is how I rank the programmers I have tried:

1. Predator (Kick a** power and best diagnostics including trend recording of sensor data)
2. Old superchips (1701 I believe)
3. New superchips (1705)
4. Distant 4th is the Hypertech III

I recommend Tony Wildman tunes.. I had the superchips 1805 it was OK but no comparison to the flip chip.. not to mention switching tunes on the fly is awesome

I went wildman and never looked back except to see how far the competition is behind me and the black cloud I'm rolling

and down the road if you get bigger injectors, bigger oil, bigger turbo etc... to really make it all work to its potential you will need to get a custom burned chip... and I would go with Tony cause he will reburn your chip for free if you get any upgrades that I talked about

edge evo is one of the best off the shelf programmers... my dyno numbers in my sig is with the evo on my truck.. but.... my tony wildman chip blows the evo out of the water and its on the fly.... let me know if i can answer any of your questions: Stealth Automotive. Tony Wildman Chip

what program on the tony wildman chip would you recommend for a starter chip

Just want a starter chip with the most bang for the buck. Not planning on replacing exhaust and changing to a cold air intake right now,but want to have some extra power to play around with and maybe get a little better mileage on a tank of fuel. I know it all depends on how much you keep your foot in it.
