Angry Who Ships to Canada using USPS ??

Bought a few things from a few larger vendors and they all want to use UPS or Fedex. The last time i got a package (wicked wheel in tiny box) UPS charges me an extra $51 brokerage fee on top of the tax and duty, Came out to $71 plus the $75 for the wheel and $20 for s&h........so it cost me $217 for a wicked wheel. I HATE UPS!!!

Do any vendors ship to Canada using plain old Post Office?? 8/10 packages get thru with no charges at all and a few get the tax, duty, & $5 brokerage fee.,,,way cheaper than UPS.

I would try and deal in canada, but supply is limited and the dealers charge an arm and a leg, way cheaper across the border.

thanks
john

We prefer to ship USPS International Priority to Canada. We only do UPS if the customer wants it that way. The only way we won't ship USPS is Global Express Guaranteed. (its a PITA)

It really will depend on weight. If the weight exceeds what USPS allows we'll have to use UPS.

I bought my exhaust and gauges and DP tuner from PDR in BC prices and shipping were fair.I got stung like you did with a UPS charge. So now I call vendors instead of ordering online from the US and if they will not ship USPS I do not deal with them

There are certain restricitions when shipping to Canada. We use USPS when we can but weight and size will play a role.

We only use USPS Express to Canada since it also provides the customer with a tracking number. (Why shipments go from Atlanta, GA to Miami, FL before heading to the border... well we haven't figured that one out...) We used UPS ONCE to ship to Canada -- when we heard about the brokerage fees, we never used 'em again!
