You posted this about 2 months ago...but I'm just figuring out my way around this site myself.

Ben, how do you like Logan, Utah? I always wanted to check that area out and see if it's all that people say it is...

loaded question. if you like quiet then its great. if you like a happening night life, look elsewhere. winters are boring unless you're a sledneck, off roader (score!), or skier/snowboarder. lots of out-doorsie stuff to do in the summer. USU is here so there's a lot of college kids, but the rest of the populous is pretty blue collar. living expenses are pretty cheap, but so is the pay. luckily i work out of state mostly so its doesn't hurt me as bad. police force is a bit overgrown, but its also a really safe place to live, so take your pick. "the church" has a lot of pull here, so the bar scene is pretty diminutive. overall, i love it, and hope i never have to leave. i grew up in maryland so it was a change, but i'll take the sleepy little town over the overgrown east coast cities any day of the week. fourth of july weekend we have the cache valley cruise in, which is a big classic car show, so that's worth a look. and i think that about covers it...

Thanks for your input, Your city was rated in the top 5 areas for "starting over" awhile back. I guess the single population is pretty substantial. How much snow on the average do ya get???

lots of singles due to the college. average snowfall is pretty low, although i'm not sure on the exact figures. far lower than the east coast, that's for sure.
