name's Ben. lived in logan for the past 10 years, been a diesel owner and on the site for about a month, but a Ford man from my first car (62 Falcon). just wanted to say hey!
loaded question. if you like quiet then its great. if you like a happening night life, look elsewhere. winters are boring unless you're a sledneck, off roader (score!), or skier/snowboarder. lots of out-doorsie stuff to do in the summer. USU is here so there's a lot of college kids, but the rest of the populous is pretty blue collar. living expenses are pretty cheap, but so is the pay. luckily i work out of state mostly so its doesn't hurt me as bad. police force is a bit overgrown, but its also a really safe place to live, so take your pick. "the church" has a lot of pull here, so the bar scene is pretty diminutive. overall, i love it, and hope i never have to leave. i grew up in maryland so it was a change, but i'll take the sleepy little town over the overgrown east coast cities any day of the week. fourth of july weekend we have the cache valley cruise in, which is a big classic car show, so that's worth a look. and i think that about covers it...:thumb:Ben, how do you like Logan, Utah? I always wanted to check that area out and see if it's all that people say it is...:dunno:
It's different out here. Winters are mild. This year we've had hardly any snow. If your an outdoorsy person you will really like it out here. Lots of offroading, hiking, camping ect.Small worls lol, how do you like Layton compared to Fairborn? I go to the commissary once in awhile for stuff I can't find around here. Hows your winters theres? I'd like to head out there sometime soon and check it out.
