OK guys. What did we do, give up on setting a date? Lets have some input here. I need to know so I can get off of work for that day. I am looking foward to finally being able to make it a meet. Throw out some ideas.

I talked to Adam the other day.. he said the 19th (as long as that's a Saturday, I don't have a calender in front of me) is good with him. He was figuring on having an afternoon event, and a bonfire, and limiting projects either to something small, or till later in the day.

Now.. we need some ideas on food, etc. Anyone with suggestions.. please post up.

If I have a rough Idea on how many will be attending I can get a great price on steaks I can bring down with me. Yes the 19th is a Saturday. Aaron your gonna have to get me an address so I can plot out my route down there ok.

If BC is bringin steaks, I will do some taters. Give me some idea on how many y'all are comin' out. I will also need some guidance on getting there.

We got a race on the 20th but as long as every thing goes ok and we're all loaded up the day before the meet I should be able to make it, and bring one person with me. I will do my best to get the drinks.. Depending on how many people are coming we may need someone else to bring a cooler with some drinks also.

OK gang.. I know that the weather is getting nicer, and folks are spending less time on their puters, but we gotta get this organized here. The scheduled date is only 13 days away.. we need some info... who's coming, who's not, etc.
Sounds like we've got a good start on some good food, and from folks who are like me.. travellers!!!!

While the offer is appreciated... I don't believe that will be necesary, for several reasons.

*Some of the members who attend the rallies are not of legal age, and we prefer not to tempt them to do something illegal.

*We are not able to provide overnight accomodations at the current rally site, and we also have severe apprehensions about folks leaving after having been drinking.

*We will not ever tell someone what they can or can't drink.. but we ask that it be kept in moderation, and that everyone stay safe.

where do u guys hold this i live about an hr or so from the indiaina line and im from illinois. But would like to meet some of the other powerstrokers out there.
