There is still sales tax....Its paid when you register the car to the new owner. Usually limited in amount, but unless GA is way different than anywhere else I've lived.

In Georgia, if a private owner sells his car to another person there is no sales tax. However, I am not sure about an out of state party purchasing the vehicle.

Dang! If i didn't have this 5th wheel camper i pull, i would buy that in a heartbeat and sell my dually. same collors almost but i just couldn't pull the 5er unless i lifted it 8" also...that would look odd eh?
In OK you pay excise tax on the vehicle you purchased use..its about 3% of the sale price so that would come to 840 bucks for a $28k truck.
