The only thing wrong with the truck is the steering wheel is getting worn as you could see in the picture that a common problem with the painted leather steering wheels of the yr model. And the driver side ball joint is getting loose and will need to be replaced in the next 5k miles I would replace top and bottom as when you replace one might as well do em both but the ball joints cost about 80 bucks for both and the steering wheel about 300

Other than doing the tests listed in the buying guide, I'd ask if the transmission had ever been worked on. Otherwise, it looks like a good deal!

Now your heading in the right direction. Looks good, check the carfax, sign up a a member here and get a free oasis report. This report will tell you everything that has been done through the dealer. Then you will know what you are up against but site unseen I say it's a go.

Not to mention Captains chairs!!!!!

Go with a 7.3 and you can get leather interior done for about $1200. I did that and it is better than the Lariat leather.

, my truck is a XLT and came with cloth but I made the Ford dealer I bought it from have leather installed, looks great and the leather is catzkin and I'm told is better than factory, don't let a truck with cloth stop you from buying it as you can always have it installed later
