Want to Trade 2002 WS6 Trans Am for Powerstroke 4x4 !!!

I have a 2002 WS6 (Ram Air) LS1 with Tremec 6 speed trans, has GM 706 heads been ported and polished, LS6 Intake and throttle body that has been port matched, cammed, full SLP exhaust with electric cut out, has new NOS kit never been used, alot of BMR parts. Car is black with black leather, T-tops, only has 25k miles. Now for the bad the engine is making a noise. The car has alot work already done to it, plus this is the last year of the Trans Am and this one has really low miles and with the WS6 package it will bring top dollar when its fixed, but I really need a 3/4 or 1 ton truck to pull my camper. I'm looking to sale or trade for a truck. Im asking $1090 , even if the car needs 2k spent on it you will still have a last year WS6 with 25k miles thats quicker than a Vette for less than $14000 .NADA values go from $12700 (rough trade in) to $17700 (clean retail). I also have a 1990 Chevy 3500 (dually) Extended Cab 4x4 350 with a 4 speed that I can add to the right trade.Call or text 256-295-5469 or email. Thanks!

I'm really not sure. I have checked the rocker arms, push rods and valve springs, all is good there. So I'm not sure. Did you see the video clip ?

sounds like a very loose rocker arm, but since you checked, i'm gonna guess wrist pin, or a rod brg; does it have good oil pressure? I guess it started with the owner before you?

Oil pressure is 45-55 cold then 25-35 warm idle. Yeah I have only drive it like 15 miles maybe, easy driving.

Car seemed to run great when we traded. Started it up 2-3 times and drove it all seemed fine till I started home. Car will still start right up and run fine, no misses or skips, of course I havent been running it except to unload it off the trailer. Let me know what you think. Thanks

Did you not question the guy you bught it from? I was under the impression you knew it had the problem when you bought it? So it started it later...I would be going back on the guy....just me though.

I'm gonna have to think on it....I realize it is an 02 low mileage car, but at minimum, sounds like motor is gonna have to come out....I have pulled one of those....it is a pain. The LS rebuilds are not cheap. I have a high mileage LS motor, but it would be a disgrace to that car. I will sleep on it....I have a lot of interest on my truck from local traffic where I have it parked, I may see how that works out first.
