Lifts, what do you run?!
Alright guys. I'm looking to bring the front of my 97 F250 Super Cab up a few inches. As of right now it has TTB but its getting a D60 swapped very soon. What are you OBS guys running and how do you like it?
I don't have the money to do a RSK with v and b codes right now so thats not an option.. Am I going to be better off running add a leaves or getting a full lift from someone? Not looking to lift it to the sky, just want to run a 35" tire and have my truck level. Any suggestions and what do you run? |

when i did the dana60 swap i took the f-350 springs off the donor truck as well and it made the truck sit perfectly level. because the springs you have now with the ttb have a negative arch to them they'll ride like sh*t with the new axle, while the f-350 springs have a positive arch to them. after that you could do a add-a-leaf and make some spacers for the front bumper and fit 35's underneith. and although everyone pushes for the v-code springs with the RSK, yeah it'll ride like night and day but even if you ran your stock springs with the RSK it'd be better than stock. by the time you pay for the RSK kit and shocks your at the same price for a 4" spring kit and you'll have the same ride as factory....

Sweet! Thanks, I'll have to keep my eyes open for some F350 springs then. The donor truck has already been scrapped. I'm going to be trading my quad for a D60 in the next few weeks and want to get it under for as cheap as possible and as quick as I can.
I have to go to a junk yard anyways. I have to get my hands on a Trac Bar mount. I know quite a few Yards that have Fords in em so hope I can find what I need. |
