4r100 p1705 code
So my OD light is flashing and I checked the code and its a p1705 trans selector out of range. So I talked to the trans shop and they said that 99% of the time its the switch on the side of the trans. So I threw on a $60 switch and made sure I lined up the marks in neutral and no dice. The truck seems to shift real sloppy and dont want to burn up the trans, and trying to avoid taking it in cause we all are feeling the pain of the economy. I have been googling all day on possible solutions and have come up with nothing. Ant help in appreciated!!

4r100 p1705 code
Mine is turning out to be a wire harness problem. After replacing fluid filters plus the silly noid pack it's coming down to a short somewhere between trans and pcm like that narrows it down. These fly by wire systems are not all they are cracked up to be.
Cant wait to see what joys fiber optic will turn out to be.
