2001 7.3 occasional slipping ??

I have a 2001 powerstroke and my tranny just recently started slipping majorly but its very random. Its seems to happen almost every time in over drive, I'll be cruising at 65 and all the sudden my rpms take off and the truck is going no where, I'll pull off the freeway for roughly 2 mins and it takes off just fine. It has a k&n cold air, deleted muffler, 37 inch tires and a Ts 140 hp chip. I run it at 50 hp setting 98% percent of the time and really don't hot rod it very much. Occasional race with the Hondas and such I'll turn it up to 100hp setting. 140 hp setting makes it feel like my tranny is going to hand grenade so I don't run it. I don't have gauges for trans temp (I know very dumb) but I really don't think I can be overheating the tranny the way I drive it. Anybody have an idea what could cause this? I know I need to get my chip reprogrammed by beans or Tony for the 37"s but I'm stumped. Also I just had tranny flushed when it started happening and it has roughly 140,000 miles on tranny
