now what

we changed the oil, and filter drained the torque converter replaced the servo pack on this 99 psd with the 4r100 it had a little black in the pan but not bad. after we finished the truck it drove fine everything worked it shifted smooth no slipping. we drove it about 50 miles and now it will only shift up to 2nd and no higher what is up with this thing

i think we might have it. this is my friends truck i have been helping him fix it. last night after he headed home he called and told me that it would not shift up. but he didnt tell me he had been following his wife for 15 miles at 15 mph in a snow storm. when he claimed it would not shift he was only going about 35. i have driven it for about the last 4 hours and it goes fine, it just will not shift into od at 35 mph in a snow storm
