trans gauge

Its saturday and I need to but a trans temp gauge before leaving town on monday morning. I can not find a store that has one in stock. Can anyone suggest what type store might stock these. I am north of dallas tx.

using a water temp gauge will be tough, because they dont "tell you" the actual temp......see if you can find a local performance shop in your area....

u bet, an oil temp gauge will work, BUT....what are the ranges of the gauge, because trannies run considerably cooler than engine oil.....
