Help! 100 miles into a 350 mile trip and stuck
Got check engine wrench light on '08 6.4 PSD 4x4. Ran codes on Spartan and got:
P0757 Shift solenoid B stuck on P2701 Transmission friction element B apply time range/performance P1000 OBD Systems readiness test not complete Not a transmission guy, what does this mean? The truck runs all temps, pressures etc are normal. Shift weird, especially on take off and doesn't act like it wants to go all the way into reverse. Please help is this something I can fix quick or am I stuck? Thanks Eric |

I would try reloading the tunes. I had my truck get stuck in 2nd gear one time and I reloaded my tune and it was fine.

Think I got it worked out, tried reloading the tune that no worky. Talked to my dad a auto tranny guru and he told me some stuff to try. Ended up putting it to the firewall in reverse, then the same in drive a few times. My dad said that a lot of times that will blow any trash out that is making the solenoids stick. It seemed to work, still gonna change the fluid, drop the pan to check for big chunks and slap a new filter in it.
