00 Ford F250 Leaking Lots of Fluid

So just bought my Ford F250 2wd about six weeks ago and two days ago I decided to tow a 16 car hauler to tow a car and as soon as I get to drop the trailer off my tranny just gushes a bunch of tranny fluid.

Today I started taking the tranny off, the fluid seemed fairly new and clean not burnt at all. Most people told me it might be a front seal but once I took the converter out the seal looked good it was a grey colered.

Question is do yall think it might be the pump that is bad, I just dont wanna replace the seal only to put the tranny back up and find out that it was the pump.

Is there any way in pertical to check it in these F250s

Any info woudl be apreciated
