2004 6.0 transmission slips bad in od, real bad in reverse

HELLO ALL! THIS IS MY FIRST TIME POSTING. I'M HAVING SERIOUS TRANNY PROBLEMS WITH MY 04 6.0. IT SLIPED BAD GOING INTO O/D AND SUPER BAD INTO REVERSE, TO THE POINT I CAN'T EVEN BACK UP A SMALL GRADE. THE TRUCK WILL SLIP OVER AND OVER UNTIL THE TOW/HAUL LIGHT ON THE SHIFTER FLASHES, THEN IT SHIFTS FINE AND HARD UNTIL I TURN THE TRUCK OFF. ANY SUGGESTIONS? HELP PLEASE!!

Im having the same exact issue. Just the truck wont shift into overdrive. Shifts fine all other gears, took the bullydog out and had the solinoid replaced today. Still doing same thing. Any info would be great.

2006 Ford F350 6.0 Transmission slipping

Please let me know what you find out about your tranny because I have the Bully Dog PMT, among other mods, and my transmission is starting to slip when shifting from 1 to 2 or 2 to 3 when I get on it somewhat. I have only had the upgrade mods in place for about 3 weeks. Thanks, Michael. mdbreaux@eatel.net

Well, we came across another tranny, for 1000 bucks. Only has 2000 miles on it out of a wrecked 06. From what we figured out, And what everyone else told us. That the Direct Drive Clutches were pretty much toasted. And it would need rebuild. This tranny has 113000 miles on it, and 40000 of them were after we put the 12inch lift and 22.5 semi wheels and 40 inch tires. So i guess it was ready anyhow.
