Leaking Transmission Lines- - REMOVE Entire Motor To Replace???
Dealing with leaking transmission lines on my 2005 F350 6.0 and it is currently at the Ford House. Was told initially that it was an easy fix for about $350. Tech called this afternoon and said they have to take the entire motor out to replace lines....that will add $$$ to my repair. Wondering if anyone has any info about this and if there may be some other options. Thanks.

Go under there and look at them yourself. I've seen plenty and have no idea why it'd be necessary. I'd go up there and have them show you EXACTLY why that's the case. If they can't, tell them they just lost your business.
