01 6speed bad 1st & 2nd gear

Driving home today trucks tranny started acting funny
in 1st/2nd gear it bairley goes between 1st and 2nd
they work but the are real hard shifting,you really
have to push hard.But if you go rev then it will go ok
in 1st.All other gears are ok.Really need info please.

Sounds like a worn synchro. The trans would have to be split and repaired if thats what the problem is.

Thanks for the reply,I had to replace the tranny with a rebuilt
one $1800. from HIGEAR in Memphis not a bad price shipped..
