Self Diagnoses

I came out of a meeting the other day and couldn't move. Feel like fwd and reverse and reverse at the same time. I started checking things out. 1st was 2nd, 2nd was 2nd ,3rd was 3rd. no lock up but 4th. The trans shop said I needed an overhall. It has good fluid and a clean pan. I've changed the modulator 3 time's tryng to firm the shifts. I had them check out the harness and senders. Shure enough, when the shift solenoid was unplugged, fluid ran out. Harness was fine, shift solenoid was bad. I hate being right!!!! Trans works great now. It hammers through gears like never before. So if you have a problem your clutches aren't all in the pan, get the electronics checked out.
