Trans won't shift out of park
Came out to start my truck this morning I tried to put it into reverse but I couldn't move the shift lever. The truck is parked on my driveway which is a slight incline. I had my wife get in it tonight and I got behind it and tried to roll it forward while she tried to get it in to gear. It still won't budge. I am really tight on funds right now so this is not good. I just hope it is nothing major. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I had the same problem with my 2004 6.0, It is the brake shift interlock (the thing where you have to press the brake pedal to get it in gear). Most of the time your brake lights quite working because the switch is one in the same (even though mine did not). You have two choices, either buy a new switch which is mounted on the brake pedal or remove this feature entirely. I removed mine entirely because I found it annoying anyway. If you want to know how to remove it let me know.
