weak reverse

i have a 95 f250 7.3 with a e4od tranny. ok my problem is reverse all forward gears work fine but when i put in reverse it will go on flat ground but any incline it cant climb it the tranny does not feel like its slipping just wont go. while on flat ground i can go but if i give it gas it feels like it falls on its face. could this be just a bad servo or does it sound like tranny is just starting to go. thanks for everyones help in advanced.

Just curious, did you figure out what the problem is? My tranny is doing the exact same thing! Thanks for any help
