e99 TS chip install, p0705 code

I installed a ts 6 position chip on my e99 7.3. Truck fired up and I took it out for a test. Shifted from 1st to 2nd fine, then I stopped. I went t drive further but it wouldnt shift out of 1st. I took it home and checked for codes. I got the p0705 code (Trans range sensor). I took the chip out, cleared the code and took it out. Same thing, shifted once fine but after that it wouldn't go out of 1st. Same code came up.
Is it possible the TS chip fried the sensor or worse, the PCM?

Need some help ASAP, its my daily driver.
