Location of tranny temp sensor???

2003 F-250 7.3L 4x4 A/T lookin for the sensor, tranny high temp sensor, other google posts say its just under the pan, so I drained the fluid, dropped the pan, and walla, no temp sensor to be found, so where is this thing??? Heres a pic of the $16 sensor ford sold me.

I have no idea where the OEM one goes, only the aftermarket one. I would say find any/all wires going to/from the tranny and follow them.... one of them has to be attached to it.

It would probably help to post what year/model your truck is and what mods you have done in your sig. Might get more help that way. Location would be good to, someone nearby might be willing to meet up and help.
