Help please!!!!

I have a 03 F250 with the 6.0l and the torqshift 5 speed auto. Today I drove to the gym and the truck ran like normal. After the gym I was driving to a buddies house and the truck would not shift out of first gear. There was no warning of failure before. I got the truck home and checked my tranny fluid. It is full and light pink in color. It does not smell burnt at all so the transmission never got extremely hot. After I ate dinner i took my truck around the block with my dad and it never missed a beat. It shifted fine and everything. Could this be a computer issue with it not telling the tranny to shift? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
