Here is the story. I wore out the little stud at the top of the clutch pedal so I ordered a new clutch pedal and master cylinder push rod all that happy stuff. I go to put it in, pulled out the clutch master put the new pedal and rod in.
I got it all hooked up and now my clutch pedal is up by my park brake release. But the rod doesn't start moving the clutch master until its down by the brake pedal which is where its suppose to be. I have like 6 inches of pedal free play. When the clutch pedal is all the way up the rod is barely inside the clutch master. Is that rod going into the clutch master suppose to clip into anything? I went to ford and their breakdown shows no clip. So I'm thinking I must have broke a clip or something in the clutch master when I took it out. Does anyone have a clue? Its a 2001 by the way. Thanks |
