Overdrive light blinking

My mom has a 2000 7.3L with TS 6 position chip, sonnax shift enhancer kit and a CAI. Mods only been on truck for 3k miles. She never takes it past 75hp. Well the other day the overdrive off light started blinking. Checked it for codes and it was P0708. I put a new switch on the trans and its still doing it.. Any ideas??? Speedometer still works fine. Truck shifts a little funny now in higher gears..

hows the fluid? might be time for a rebuild. right before i got mine built it started blinking and had long shifts from 2nd-3rd. fluid was burnt up and some of the shift sensors were bad. i would drive fine until it warmed up. i drove it for a few days like that until i had it built.

gonna be a pretty penny

No doesn't shift hard honestly. Shifts the same as it always has.. Truck drives fine. The shifts only goofed up 1 time and the light has been on ever since. Tried disconnecting batteries and resetting with scan tool. Still does it. I put a new sensor on the side of the trans also and that didn't stop the blinking light either.. Trans feels fine honestly.. What can be done to these trans for a budget build? A decent TC and a good overhaul kit?? Can the sonnax shift enhancer kit stay in the valve body if it were to be rebuilt?

Was just looking on Suncoasts website.. I see they offer a Full master rebuild kit. Correct me if Im wrong. For the kit to come with added clutch counts you have to purchase the extra clutch kit? Since the truck already has the sonnax shift enhancer kit I don't need one of those line mod valves right? What exactly is that tugger kit??
