Look in my sig for my mods. AFE has great intakes, farm boys diesel has good exhaust kits at a great price, and i run isspro gauges. You decide what works best for you. There are a lot of vendors on this site who will be more than willing to help you out with some mods. If you have any more questions feel free to PM me. If i don't answer tonight i will tomorrow.

You need to rid of the stock airbox, it can have a bad seal. a TW, PHP, DP or any custom tunner, can write you a program for the heavy loads, and it will control the TC and trans very nicely, but you are going to need gauges, trans temp, EGT. the gauge on the truck is more of a warning light, that when it goes off, its too late in most cases.

Chase is right, the airboxes can warp and allow dust into the engine and the stock trans temp gauge is worthless.

Okay, now ya'll lost me. What is TW. PHP, and DP. When I work on a system for this dually, do I get to monitor the exhaust like the pyrometer in my KW? Is this necessary.. I would like it would be. I'm beginning to think I should just get a hauler LOL

they are all tunners for the 7.3. My advice is to never get an edge or similar products.

There is US Gear Exhaust Brake installed on this '06 F350 SuperDuty, which holds back the truck and trailer pretty good. I purchased it from PPL Motorhomes... online. (No one sells an exhaust brake kit here in Hawaii.) It was installed just prior to the muffler, on the factory 3 1/2 inch exhaust pipe.

Thumbs down

I have a '02 with a Banks Brake. I've had the truck about a month and am still getting used to it. I haul a 4h 14'lq with slide about 18K. So far I like it. I think I need to add the transcommand in order to get a little more out of it. I had a 6 liter and really loved the tranny setup in it just hated the reliablity problems.
